Amboseli and Lake Magadi – Elephants, hides and flamingos

This 9 day photo safari takes you to two of Kenya’s gems.

On clear days Amboseli, which lies on the border with Tanzania, offers gorgeous views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Dry and dusty, this park offers the perfect opportunity for atmospheric twilight photography.

Lake Magadi is famous for its flamingos. We will be staying close to the lake in Ndoto House, that we will have exclusively for our group. Here we can use a day and night hide, and we will be making an excursion to the shore of Lake Magadi or Lake Natron for flamingo photography. A few helicopter flights over the colourful Lake Magadi and Lake Natron are an option. This is straight from Ndoto House and comes highly recommended!

This trip focuses entirely on wildlife photography.

You are 9 days on the spot. Calculate extra days for the international flights!

The route has been worked out to maximise our time in the parks and we are travelling in two 4x4 vehicles, giving everybody ample space to photograph comfortably.

Accommodation is in comfortable lodges in the middle of nature. All have a private bathroom (shower, toilet), electricity and provide hearty, delicious meals.
