It was a trip to remember in every possible way. You soon realise that Ingrid and Africa have become one. She seems to know just about everyone you meet, can get things done when necessary, and is so enthusiastic and thoughtful that travelling with her is a real pleasure — even if your main reason for joining the trip is to photograph wildlife. The lodges and tented camps are carefully vetted and selected, and many of them are truly special, such as Ndoto House. The helicopter flights over Lake Magadi and Lake Natron were indescribably beautiful, and the images are etched in my memory forever. The elephants in Amboseli, with Mount Kilimanjaro on the horizon, are simply unforgettable. So many impressions and extraordinary experiences made this one of the most beautiful trips I have ever taken!
