Have you already followed a course in Multiple Exposure or have you been experimenting with it yourself and are you a bit experienced with it? Do you have a camera that shows in the multiple exposure menu the option "LIGHT" and "DARK" and would you like to know what painterly and abstract results you can achieve with this? Do the surroundings of the Sonian Forest appeal to you? Then this workshop is definitely the one for you!
 

Workshop details

We meet at sunrise in the forest and walk to a nice spot. Here the techniques are explained to you one by one. They can then be executed immediately, under Ingrid's assistance.

After the workshop the participants will receive extensive feedback on two photos that were made during the course of this morning.
 

Who is the workshop aimed at?​

• photographers who are very familiar with the basics of photography (relationship aperture, ISO and shutter speed; light metering)
• and who like creative and abstract photography
• and who are in the possession of a digital SLR camera (or a mirrorless system camera) and a tripod, ideally with a gimbal head or Wimberley sidekick or similar. More important is a tripod mount on the telephoto lens, that is highly recommended for this workshop! There are also two extra tripods available - please mention when you enroll that you don't have a tripod and then I will let you know if I can still provide one.

To get the most out of this workshop, bring lenses with various focal distances and definitely a zoomlens and a wide angle lens. Also lenses with a focal distance of 50 to 85mm (also vintage/analogue lenses) with large possible apertures (f/1,2-f/2,8) will largely increase your photography pleasure! There are also two extra tripods available - please mention when you enroll that you don't have a tripod and then I will let you know if I can still provide one.

Practical info: 

• IMPORTANT! The participants will keep both days free - if the weather is bad on day 1, the workshop will be postponed until the bad weather date.
• In this workshop you are NOT being taught the basics of multiple exposure. There are other workshops in the program for this. This workshop concentrates on the options LIGHT and DARK in the multiple exposure, applied to forest subjects. It is highly recommended to already have some experience with multiple exposure, to get the maximum out of this workshop.
