This was my third trip with Ingrid, and this time our journey took us to Amboseli and Lake Magadi. I had visited Amboseli several times before, but we still thoroughly enjoyed the elephants, especially our encounter with Michael, one of the few remaining tuskers. Then we headed to Ndoto House, near Lake Magadi. I have to say, Ingrid sometimes takes you to places that leave you absolutely speechless! Imagine an enormous, luxurious private house with your own swimming pool right in your room. And when it comes to photography, there is a special night hide where, besides zebras, you can spot some truly extraordinary species. How about a caracal, a serval, a striped hyena or a bat-eared fox? And I haven’t even mentioned the helicopter flights over Lake Magadi and Lake Natron yet! You are sure to come away from this experience with a completely different collection of photographs than you would from a conventional jeep safari.
